Shopping List for Lettuce Wraps and Kung Pao Scallops


Dry sherry 



White pepper

1 1/4 pounds raw scallops

Salad oil

Dry hot chili peppers or Ground fresh chili paste

Salted peanuts


Fresh ginger

2 whole green onions

1 bunch green onions

Soy sauce

White wine vinegar

Chicken broth (optional)


6 Boston, bibb or butter lettuce leaves (or head of lettuce, rinsed, using large leaves)

1 pound ground chicken breast 

1 large onion

1/2 Cup pine nuts

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

Rice wine vinegar or Red wine vinegar 

1 can (8 ounce size) sliced water chestnuts

Asian sesame oil
